TAG Heuer’s incredible reinvention of the Carrera chronograph launched last year has received near-universal acclaim, and the brand isn’t holding back. The watch face here offers the panda design that many may have been craving. The roots of the red accents can be traced back to multiple generations of Carrera, with the brand dating the Heur 7753 SN to the late 1960s. Displayed via a sapphire case back, the movement beats at 28,800 vibrations per hour and offers an impressive 80 hours of power reserve. The movement is equipped with a column wheel chronograph mechanism that provides a wonderful tactility and smooth operation.
It’s not a new Valuable Replica watch, but people seem to get excited every time a panda dial appears in a major chronograph model line. Personally, I don’t find this colorway as attractive as the existing blue or black (with silver subs) options.
